Terms of service
Last updated September 19, 2026. By creating an account or using Town Square you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
the service
Town Square keeps a record of the work done on a home: projects, permits, the people who did the work and what their clients said about it. Homeowners, property managers, agents and vendors each get a workspace on that record. Some features are paid; prices are shown before you buy and can be cancelled from your settings.
your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code we text you. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your number current. You must be 18 or older.
text messages
When you enter your number we text you a one-time sign-in code. That code is how you sign in, so it is sent every time you ask for one. If you turn on text messages in settings we will also text you the same alerts you would get by email: a referral, an approval, a request or a proposal that needs you. Message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or turn text messages off in settings. Reply HELP for help, or write to olivia@buildyourtownsquare.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
what you post
You keep ownership of what you add to a record and give Town Square a licence to store and show it as part of the service. Post only what is true and yours to share. Work records, referrals and approvals are meant to be accurate; we may remove content that is not, and may suspend accounts that misuse the service.
public records
Parts of a home's record come from public sources such as city permit and property data. We present them as received and do not warrant their completeness.
liability
Town Square is provided as is. We connect people and keep records; we are not a party to the work agreed between a homeowner and a vendor or agent, and we are not liable for it. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
changes
We may update these terms. When we do, the date above changes and continued use means you accept the new terms. Questions go to olivia@buildyourtownsquare.com.
