Privacy policy

Last updated September 19, 2026. This is what Town Square collects, why, and the choices you have.

what we collect

What you give us: your mobile number, name and email; the properties you claim or manage; the work, photos, referrals and approvals you add; your messages to other members; and payment details, which go to our payment processor, not to us. What we gather as you use the service: the pages you open and the devices you use them from, to keep the service working and safe.

how we use it

To sign you in, to keep the home record you are part of, to show your work and referrals to the members you share them with, to send the notifications you asked for, to bill you for paid features, and to prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information.

text messages

We text your number a one-time code when you sign in. If you turn text messages on in settings we also text you alerts about your account; you can turn them off there or by replying STOP to any message. Your mobile number and your consent to receive texts are used only for these messages. Mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

who else sees it

Members you work with see what you share with them on a record. Our service providers process data on our behalf and only for us: cloud hosting, email and text delivery, and payments. Public-record data on a home is public before it reaches us. We disclose information when the law requires it.

keeping it

A home's record is meant to outlast any one owner, so work history stays with the home. Your account details are kept while your account is open and for as long as we need them afterwards to meet legal obligations. security and children

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest and access is limited to the people who need it. Town Square is not for children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

changes
